Sales Tax
Sales Tax is only applied to orders shipping to the state of California.
All orders shipping outside of California, will not be charged sales tax.
Return Procedure
We will only accept returns purchased at Designer Plumbing Outlet DPO. To initiate a return please contact our customer service department by email: operations@designerplumbingoutlet.com or live chat on our home page, and contact page, or by telephone 1-888-328-4152 Telephone and Live chat hours are from 7 am Pacific Time to 5:00 pm Pacific Time.
Packages must be shipped back to the address listed on your return label and you must keep tracking numbers for the returned merchandise.
We accept Returns from 30 days from the day your product is delivered.
Return Requirements
* All Merchandise must be in new un-used condition
* All Merchandise must be in original packaging with out damage to packaging.
(No Shipping Labels or Markings on Original Packaging)
* Products Returned must include proper paper work and installation instructions
* The factory box must not be tampered with or written on or have any shipping labels attached or be defaced in anyway.
* Merchandise must include valid RGA # and Customer Information
* Returns must be sent back to the correct warehouse
* It is suggested that you repack product in larger box to avoid damage in shipping
* Returned items are subject to a 25% re-stocking fee on non-special order items. Special order items have a re-stocking fee of 40%. We will notify you of a special order item.
Order Cancellation
Canceling orders is allowed and you will not be charged a re-stocking fee for a cancelled order. However, we do make every effort to get your order to ship within an hour of your order. So please contact us immediately if you want to cancel your order. Otherwise the standard return policy applies and you will be responsible for shipping back the item.
Defective Items
We are here to help you with any defective item that you may receive. We only sell top quality, Factory First New Products. So this is a rare occasion. In the event of a defective item. Designer Plumbing’s staff will be glad to contact the manufacture for you to initiate the return and replacement of your defective item. In some cases the items must be sent back to the Manufacturer’s distributor. If this is the case, we will ship you out new items and accept the return of your defective item. Defective items are not charged a re-stocking fee.
Note: Designer Plumbing Outlet will not be held responsible for labor costs that resulted from installation of incorrect or defective parts.
What will happen once I request to return an item ?
When you contact our helpful customer service team. Within 1 to 2 Business Days your Return Goods Authorization (RGA) will be processed. We will email you (or Fax by request) a PDF document with a RGA number and address to send back your items to be returned.
Please write the RGA number on the outside of the outside packaging double box (Not the Factory Box included with your Faucet or Accessories. This must remain factory fresh.)
Your return will arrive at our Returns Warehouse and we will open and inspect the item/s. We will then process your credit back to the original card used.
Note: To protect your safety our Safe, Secure System only Keeps Credit Card Numbers on File for 30 Days and Our system Never Shows your 3 Digit Security Code.
So if you return is after the 30-Day Time Frame, One of our Return Specialists will contact you for your credit card information to process your credit. If you are uncomfortable providing credit card information, then your credit will be via Check mailed to you. Please allow extra time for all credits by check.
We process your credit within 3 to 4 Business days from the time or your Return. However, Please allow up to 15 to 20 Days for your credit to be applied. This is due to processing times for each individual bank and credit card company.
We will send you via email a copy of the return credit receipt once we process your credit.
Exceptions
Special Order Items or Items may be returned however; a re-stocking fee will apply to special order Items. You will be notified of any special order item before the order is processed. Re-Stocking fee for all special order items is 40% due to manufacturers charge applies to us.
Tubs, Toilets, Bidets, Sinks, and other fixtures are eligible for Return; however, they are subject to a 25% re-stocking fee.
All items returned without the proper RGA paperwork and Re-Stocking Fee Waiver will be charged a re-stocking fee.
Items sent to the incorrect address and not to our Returns Warehouse will be subject to a re-stocking fee.
Orders may not be delivered to PO Boxes. All orders must have a physical shipping address.
MOTOR FREIGHT ORDERS:
Please Read Below If your order has shipped via Motor Freight, Do not accept any packages with visible damage to the outside.
NOTE: Large Items Shipped Via Motor Freight are not delivered into your home or project. Please arrange to have a crew to move these items to your desired location.
ALL MOTOR FREIGHT ORDERS - Must open and inspect your package before signing any release. This must be completed, otherwise, the carrier will not issue credit, once the order is signed for and released. Therefore we will not be able to issue credits on Motor Freight Orders that have been signed for and released. It is your responsibility to inspect for damage before releasing the order from the shipper.
Free Faucet Shipping
* Free Faucet Shipping has a transit time of 5-7 business days from the time your order is shipped.
Refunds
Designer Plumbing Outlet will notify you by email once we have processed your credit/refund.

International Orders
Thank you for choosing Designer Plumbing Outlet for your international shipment! Below are very important guidelines regarding international orders:
1. Once a package goes through customs, that charge will apply whether you accept the package or refuse/return the package.
2. Sometimes customers prefer to refuse a shipment without notification to DPO. Even if the customer refuses delivery, we still need to know so that we can call UPS to authorize the return. Once something is refused we have 10 days to get in touch with UPS and have it sent back, or UPS will consider the package abandoned, and no credit will be issued. We are unable to credit the customer for the return freight, taxes, and duties on international orders.
3. We will not lower the invoice price or mark your order as a gift in order to lower taxes on your shipment.
